| I don't believe I have ever been without some sort of pet(s). Cats, birds,horses and dogs have been the main owners of my home. However, I have had many other delights such as ducks, chickens, hamsters, rabbits and who knows what else I have dragged home. It has always seemed that I relate better to animals than humans. Yes, I still have arguments with the cats for getting into things or the birds for chewing something they shouldn't, but then it is forgotten and we get on with more important things. The pleasure I have gotten over the years as caretaker of these beings has been (is) beyond all other enjoyments I have indulged myself with. I often wonder who is actually care taking whom... With this in mind, throughout these pages, I will introduce you to the owners of my heart. |
