Spiritual Realizations...
I have often wondered about the spiritual world.
It wasn't until a few short years ago that
I took myself back to the basics of my personal beliefs that I clung to as a child.
I was always too afraid to speak out for fear of reprimand.
What a shame I wasted all those years.
This has led me on the path of discovery of spiritual realizations
I had too long forgotten, as has my soul.
I long ago disowned the lies of the common religions
that have shrieked of dishonesty for centuries.
You know, those ones that hide behind "in-the-name-of-god" as an excuse for
war, greed, and disrespect used to justify the horrific actions used against others.
They have washed their hands in blood "in the name of God" far too many times.

The fact of the matter is, if only most would do a bit of history on 'religion',
it would be discovered that all stemmed from some sort of pagan belief(s).

I believe in truth and spirituality, nothing more, nothing less.

I never have bought the idea of going to church on Sunday to get "holy",
only to live the other six days going against every commandment ever taught,
then actually seeking ways to justify those very actions.

Call me pagan, if you please.

The day has come when certain religious faiths
have been given the right to be above the law.
The day has come when the leaders of our country have total disregard
for the very laws that are supposed to protect us all,
and seemingly gone forthwith the idea of world rule by one dictator,
no matter what the 'people' say.

My spirituality rests upon a heavy heart with a mere hope
that the world will wake up before it is too late and take notice.
We are spiritually dying and I find that disturbing.

For with a strong sense of spiritual beliefs comes honesty, humility, compassion,
empathy and humblness toword all our brothers and sisters.. all two-legged,
four-legged, winged and scaled alike.
I, myself, am no greater nor lesser than any part of this great web.

and in the Spirit of the Song Dogs...
I would like to say,
"May God Bless and Keep Us All",
I actually mean: "
May the Great Spirit Bless and Help Us All".
